Terms of service.

These terms apply to Animiyu: the Windows desktop companion app, your account at animiyu.com/account, and the AI features they include (together, the "service"). Animiyu is provided by Seymur Omarov, an individual sole trader trading as Animiyu ("we", "us"). When you create an account or buy a plan, your agreement is with Seymur Omarov.
By creating an account, buying a plan or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service and plans
Animiyu is an animated desktop companion. An active plan is required to use the app. Each plan includes AI usage credit for chat, the coding agent and camera and screen answers; animations, voice and reminders do not use credit.
- Basic: $20 a month, including $10 of AI usage each month. New Basic subscriptions can start with a 1-day trial for $1 that includes $1 of AI usage. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription continues at $20 a month.
- Pro: $100 a month, including $60 of AI usage each month.
Current prices are shown on our pricing page. Checkout shows the final amount in your currency, including any tax. AI usage credit applies to one billing period and does not roll over. When it runs out, AI features pause until your next billing period.
Orders, payment and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payments are also covered by Paddle's buyer terms. Plans are subscriptions billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing on your account page; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are described in our refund policy.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service, or help anyone else use it:
- for anything unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive, or to send spam;
- to infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- to harass, threaten or harm others, or to create sexual content involving minors, content that promotes violence or other content that is illegal where you or the recipient are;
- to distribute malware, probe or attack our systems, scrape the service, or get around usage limits, access controls or security measures;
- by sharing, reselling or transferring your account.
AI features
You are responsible for the prompts, images and screen or camera captures you send and for how you use the responses. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date: check it before relying on it, and do not treat it as professional (for example legal, medical or financial) advice. We may filter, refuse or limit requests that break these terms.
You keep any rights you have in what you send. You allow us and our AI providers to process it only to provide the service. As between you and us, you may use the responses you receive, subject to these terms and the law. If you believe content produced through the service infringes your rights, contact us at omarov.seymur@outlook.com with the details and we will review it and act where appropriate.
Our intellectual property
We and our licensors own the service, including the app, characters, artwork, animations and software. While your plan is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app for your own use under these terms.
Availability
We work to keep the service running well, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available, and we may change or improve features over time.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. You can stop using the service at any time; to close your account, contact us.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
